Eight Towns and the Bay Committee

The Eight Towns and the Bay Committee (8T&B) of the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission is dedicated to the protection of the coastal waters and watersheds on the upper North Shore of Massachusetts. 8T&B is a regional partner for the Massachusetts Bays Program and works with the municipalities of Salisbury, Amesbury, Newburyport, Newbury, Rowley, Ipswich, Essex, Gloucester, and Rockport. Team 8T&B was a founding member of the Think Blue Coalition, and an active participant in the development of the campaign from its inception. Team 8T&B has helped spread the Think Blue message on the North Shore through several public presentations, including the Conservation Commissioners Network.
