Team Leader: Jo Ann Muramoto
Team Since: Summer 2006

The Association to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC) is an over 5,000-member organization with the reputation as Cape Cod's leading environmental educator, advocate and watchdog organization. As the Cape Cod regional partner of the Massachusetts Bays National Estuary Program, APCC works with local communities to promote stormwater management and stormwater utilities.  Team APCC has partnered with the Barnstable Dept of Public Works to host a Think Blue exhibit at the annual Maritime Festival in Hyannis, where Stormy made his premier debut in the spring of 2006.  APCC recently received a grant from the Massachusetts Environmental Trust to facilitate the development of stormwater utilities in Cape towns. As part of this project, Team APCC plans to utilize Think Blue materials to educate the public about stormwater pollution and help generate public support for improved management of stormwater.
