What exactly is a Think Blue Team?

Think Blue Teams are local. Teams are the local implementation partners of this award-winning, statewide campaign. Teams are the critical “on-the-ground” people that share the Think Blue message with their community through their choice of Think Blue projects.

Think Blue Teams are diverse. Think Blue Teams can be large or small, formal or informal – such as a group of students, co-workers, scouts, neighbors, municipal officials, a family, or even an individual. Teams might be new to the world of water protection, or might already be doing great work in this field.

Think Blue Teams are doers. Think Blue Team members use their knowledge of local issues and concerns to create a customized stormwater project using Think Blue materials and guidance in the Think Blue Toolbox. Teams choose a project or several to suit their needs, time and budget.

Think Blue Teams are unified. Think Blue Teams share a common desire to protect Massachusetts’ waters using a fresh approach to environmental protection that inspires behavior change. While the local problems and players are unique, Team efforts are united by consistently branded Think Blue materials used statewide.

Think Blue Teams are contributors. Individual Think Blue Teams contribute to the greater campaign by providing feedback to the Think Blue Coalition for the benefit of all Teams. Individual Team projects raise the visibility of the statewide Think Blue campaign. More Teams = more visibility = a better Think Blue.
